Good site

Sitting here enjoying some kohlrabi, thinking, "What am I getting from this?" Which, admittedly, I should have been thinking all along, but am keenly aware of now that there's a little one to think of. But, clearly, everything is on the internet, so I looked it up. I love the charts on this site:

And, you'll notice, kohlrabi is VERY good for you in many ways :-). And no bugs...

did anyone eat the mega kohlrabi raw? ... Just wondering if it starts to get tough when its this big, and needs to be cooked. We gave ours to the neighbors last week.

I ate last week's raw and it was fine. Haven't touched today's yet.

I noticed no difference between the big and the smaller ones. The skin is a little thicker on the big ones, but I peel them before eating them, so it really doesn't make a difference.

Ryan chopped off the edges and sauteed them with oil and salt and onions from the CSA box. They were super-good, especially if let long enough to get tender.
