Our grower must not grow asparagus, huh? Don't you think we would've gotten some if they did? I did get some tasty gus at the FM last week though. Grilled it up nice.
If I remember correctly, asparagus doesn't produce the first year. Since they are a new farm, even if they planted it, it probably wouldn't be available until next year.
That is correct. But I thought they were already an established farmer's market farm, and this was just the first year they went CSA. So theoretically, they should have already planted asparagus last year or earlier because everyone knows its delicious!
